WHAT IS ON SITE?

Devon Cliffs is Haven’s flagship site, featuring it’s own breathtaking private sandy beach. With sloped access from the cliff top, the site provides numerous opportunities to entertain the entire family.
Private guests must purchase a Play Pass directly through Haven to access certain activities. However, if you’re on a budget, don’t worry! There are also plenty of free opportunities around the park to ensure a memorable stay for you and your group.

Let’s start with their incredible beach, where you could spend time together exploring rockpools, jumping waves on the shore, or maybe challenging each other to a sandcastle battle. The options are only limited by your party’s imagination, and if you have forgotten your buckets and spades, We have you covered; we have a small collection under the caravan for guest use.
Remember that safety is a top priority! Always check the tide times before embarking on a stroll along the beach or planning an action-packed day of fun.
Just a quick note: dogs are not allowed on the beach from 1st May to 30th September, but there are some lovely walks and areas where you can take them so they don’t miss out.

Dogs on the Coast Path – South West Coast Path
Experience the thrill of staying at SandyPaws with our incredible cliffside walks! If you’re seeking an invigorating activity to exhaust both your two-legged and four-legged companions, don’t miss the walks to Budleigh Salterton or Exmouth.

For those in search of spectacular cliffside views, set your sights on Spruces’ field and take the cliff path past Otter Cove (please note: no beach access) towards Budleigh Salterton. This nearly 3-mile route (approximately an hour-long walk) is not for the faint-hearted, with its steep and rough terrain in some areas. Along the way, you’ll discover hidden gems and breathtaking views, making sensible footwear a definite must for this unforgettable experience!
For a more relaxed stroll or to visit a dog-friendly beach during peak season while still enjoying stunning views, consider taking the coastal route from the Beachside Café. Head west along the cliff path, past the Geoneedle at Orcombe Point, and continue towards Exmouth.

Devon Cliffs – Exmouth – Walk – South West Coast Path
If little legs are too tired to walk back, catching the bus back to the park is always an option. There is a regular daily service to and from Devon Cliffs.
If you start feeling hungry or thirsty after all the fun and excitement at the beach, don’t worry – South Beach has got you covered! You’ll find not just one but three great options to grab a bite to eat or a refreshing drink while still enjoying the beautiful view. At the top of the slope to the beach, near one of the park’s 3 children’s play areas, you can visit the South Beach Bar/Restaurant and enjoy both indoor and outdoor dining. There are even designated areas where your furry friends can join you! If you’re in the mood for a quick snack or a delicious ice cream, you can pop over to the fully stocked South Beach shop next door. And during busy times, keep an eye out for Bertie’s Ice-cream van parked nearby. Plus, if you’re out on the beach and don’t want to make the trek back up the slope, the South Beach Shack halfway up offers convenient refreshments and beach toys. So, rest assured – South Beach has everything you need for a great time by the sea!
Get ready for an adventure at the main complex area! Discover the site’s largest playground, where kids can enjoy endless fun with swings, slides, climbing, and even sandcastle building. Meanwhile, parents can kick back on the benches and soak up the joy of watching their children create memories that will last a lifetime.

The final play park is located at the top of the site, close to the security gate. This one is often quieter, so if your little one prefers a little more space, it is worth a short trip up to.
If you have older children, you’ll be happy to know that at the rear of the main Astroturf pitch, there are 2 smaller multisport areas where they can often find someone who is having a kick about. They’ll be more than happy to hang out with new people their own age.
Remember also to have your photo taken sitting in their giant deckchair at some point during your stay.
Now we get to where your budget may start to feel a bit more stretched!

Step inside the complex to discover the highly sought-after ‘Play Pass’ “FREE” area where families can immerse themselves in a diverse range of coin-operated arcade games. Indulge in the excitement, with prices starting from just 2p for the drop machines and reaching £5 for a thrilling VR ride.

Please remember that although the arcade is free to visit during opening times, your group must purchase Haven’s passes to gain entry and enjoy the entertainment in the site’s two entertainment venues, Bugsy’s and Capones. Additionally, at Devon Cliffs, a wide selection of activities are available, but it’s important to note that Play passes are required to book most of these activities, including both the free ones like swimming, as well as the ones that have an additional cost. There are a few exceptions to this rule, such as crazy golf, which can be paid for separately without needing a pass (plus, you can take your dog along the course with you). Additionally, during quieter times, the trampolines can be purchased separately.

Get ready for a fantastic time at the park! They’ve got everything you can imagine, from heated pools to rock climbing, Segway tours, archery, 4×4 thrills, and even character meetups. And that’s not all – this year, they’re bringing the excitement to a new level with tube slides, the jump, NERF training camp, and an epic inflatable area. They have something for everyone!
For more information, pricing and to book activities, please head to ‘Haven Experience’ on their website (Private guests are unable to book activities via the ‘My Haven’ App.
